ICS was formed in Jacksonville, FL in 1972 to promote and celebrate Indian cultural and national programs. ICS celebrates four primary holidays and festivals: Republic Day of India, Holi, Independence Day of India, and Diwali. ICS is a non-profit organization that is run by volunteers. Hundreds of people representing several Indian cultures contribute to the success and growth of ICS every year. | "The 60th Republic Day of India was celebrated by Indian Cultural Society (ICS), Jacksonville, FL on 7th February 2009 at Landmark Middle School. Click on image for more program pictures and details... ![]()
The program was overwhelmingly attended by about 470 people which included ICS members as well as non-members. | ICS celebrated the Indian festival of colors, Holi, on March 28th, 2009 at Hanna Park from 11:00am till 4:00pm. About 500 children and adults, took part in the festivities. ![]()
